Sir Walter Scott.
So, has anyone read anything by him other than Ivanhoe? I loved it (loved it so much that while I was reading it, I skipped out on a party to continue reading it), but I've never read anything else by him.
Help me out here!
A description will appear someday. I promise.

Yeah, but I was actually at the party. I just snuck away into someone's room and read until I got caught. Then I just made the person who caught me go and get me a beer. Heh.
Anyway, you'd probably get a huge kick out of Ivanhoe if you haven't read it. Robin Hood is in it. Ivanhoe is a jackass, because he goes for the lame-ass girl Rowena, instead of the totally kick-ass Jewess Rebecca, but the bad guy rules and there's lots of fighting and romance and stuff. I couldn't believe that I got class credit to read it--it was way too enjoyable for assigned reading.
So I'm thinking about reading Waverly.
Do you have a copy of Ivanhoe?
